To provide an industrial two-layer fabric with uniform dewaterability over the entire fabric and excellent surface smoothness, rigidity, water filterability, abrasion resistance and fiber supporting property without causing deviation of a knotting yarn in the interwoven portion.

In the industrial two-layer fabric, an upper complete fabric texture is formed by an upper warp texture comprising a warp pair and an upper warp texture comprising one warp. At least a part of the lower warp on a lower fabric is a knotting yarn having a function of connecting the upper fabric with the lower fabric. The knotting yarn forms the upper warp texture in cooperation with the warp pair and the knotting yarn by interweaving the upper weft between the warp pair at the position at which the warp pair interweaves the upper weft.
