Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve fuel cost by means of declutching when neither accelerator nor brake is stepped on.
CONSTITUTION: A clutch is actuated by connecting those 2 switches 5; while the one is a switch which is turned ON when an accelerator pedal is stepped on, and the other is a switch which is turned ON when a brake pedal is stepped on. When accelerating condition is terminated, since the clutch is automatically disengaged, the engine is involved in low speed revolution resulting in reducing fuel consumption rate. Besides, the clutch is engaged when the brake pedal is stepped on, and the engine brake is serviceable.
