Title:
INERTIAL SEPARATION-TYPE ASH MELTING METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09117634
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To separate an ash from a combustion gas in a combustion exhaust gas and reduce a load on a device for treating an exhaust gas from behind.

An air pipe 2 is installed in a melting tank 1, then a fuel pipe 3 is inserted into the air pipe 2, and the tip of the fuel pipe 3 in the air pipe is immersed into a melt 4 accumulated at the bottom of the tank 1. In addition, the downstream side of the air pipe 2 is formed into a separation zone in which a combustion gas outflow hole is formed. An air introduced into the air pipe 2 or a fuel guided into the fuel pipe 3, or both of them are mixed with an ash material. Further, in a combustion melting zone near the fuel pipe 3, the ash material is melted while a mixture of fuel and air is burned, then the melt 4 is allowed to drop to the inner bottom of the tank 1, and the combustion gas is allowed to flow out of a combustion gas outflow hole to heat the interior of a furnace. At the same time, combustion gas preheats the air passing through the air pipe in its upper part, and then is released into an atmosphere.
