Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side face impact protection for a child seat.SOLUTION: A child seat according to the present invention is equipped with a seat shell which is divided into a seating part, a backrest part and a headrest part, one or more of the respective parts are provided with a side wall for protection along a portion thereof in a lengthwise direction. A rigid foam material is provided on at least an inner side of the seat shell and supported by the same. The rigid foam material, which covers at least a portion of each side wall for protection, is provided with at least one passing-through opening, and the at least one passing-through opening is provided with a soft foam material which comprises a compactible elastic foam material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
