Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method for more effectively removing stains such as protein from a hydrous contact lens at the time of washing and disinfecting treatments of the hydrous contact lens.
CONSTITUTION: This method is so constituted as to include a first stage of immersing the hydrous contact lens into a washing soln. for contact lenses into which protease is incorporated, holding the contact lens for a prescribed period of time at a temp. of not exceeding 80°C and a second stage for heating the washing soln. in which the hydrous contact lens is immersed in succession to this stage and subjecting the hydrous contact lens to disinfection by boiling.
