Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide transmission of a higher torque with a simple structure, by adapting elliptic gear wheels to be in mesh engagement, one of the gear wheels coupled with the prime mover and the other with a slide rotation regulating shaft, and a crank motion to be made via a groove contact member. CONSTITUTION:The crank shafts 14, 16 coupled with the central rotating shaft 19 is engaged with the reciprocating lever frame 20 of a semicircular arc form and the elliptic gear wheels 2, 3 are coupled with the prime mover 1 and the slide rotation regulating shaft 6, respectively, wherein the elliptic gear wheels 2, 3 are put in mesh engagement and the groove contact member 17 is adapted to cause a crank motion. The semicircular arc reciprocating lever frame 20 is provided with oneway clutches 23 via the fixed shafts 22, and gear transmission mechanisms are formed of a uniform speed gear shaft 29 and gear wheels 27, 28. By the described arrangement, the crank is provided in a single structure and, therefore, transmission of a higher torque is made possible with a simple structure.
