To provide an in-vehicle type inflation pressure warning device with which the inflation pressures of the tires of a large-sized vehicle, such as the truck, bus, etc., can be monitored in the compartment of the vehicle.
In a detecting valve, a detecting element and a transmitting section 28 are incorporated in a housing 9 integrally formed with a valve stem 1 and, at the same time, an initializing switch for registering an identification code which identifies an information transmitting tire is installed to the end section of the housing 9. In addition, the upper surface of the housing 9 is formed in such way that the surface is not protruded from a tire drop so as to prevent the transmitter 28 from being damaged at the time of changing tires.
