PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved inflator capable of correcting subsidence inside an ignition mixture and a solid promotion gunpowder floor, having few individual parts as much as possible, and having a light weight, in an air-bag module.SOLUTION: In an inflator 10 including a combustion chamber 20 for holding a pyrotechnic solid promotion gunpowder floor 21, an ignition mixture 25 is arranged in the combustion chamber 20, and when the inflator 10 is in a non-operating state in the combustion chamber, a filler element 30 is arranged movably between the ignition mixture 25 and the solid promotion gunpowder floor 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
