Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce cost by reducing the quantity of the retainer parts, simplify structure, and improve the workability in assembly, as for the inflator installation device of an air bag device.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of cut erection pieces 4 are projectingly installed at the opened port part peripheral edge of a base plate 1 for insertion-fitting an inflator 2, and the flange corner part 6a of the inflator is fitted with the cut erection engagement piece 4 by turning the inflator 2, and the flange part 6 is nipping-held by the base plate 1 and the cut erection piece 4.
