Abstract:
To provide a processing method and a processing device for wasting an inflator safely and rapidly.SOLUTION: This invention performs a processing for wasting an inflator by a method comprising setting a not-yet operated inflator 1 in a blastproof container 3, passing the blastproof container by an endless conveyor 5 into a tunnel furnace 4 set at 150 to 600°C, heating the inflator, cooling the heated inflator and then measuring a weight W2 by a load cell and measuring a weight W1 of the inflator before being passed through the tunnel furnace, reheating the inflator in which a difference between W1 and W2 is less than a predetermined value at an incinerator, or passing the blastproof container including the inflator in which a difference between W1 and W2 is less than the predetermined value in the tunnel furnace to re-heat the inflator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
