To provide an information analyzing device capable of adaptively determining the representative vector of a group with respect to the characteristic of the distribution of components of a feature vector concerning an analysis object even if the characteristic is changed.
The feature vectors are acquired which are classified into one of the plurality of groups. One of a plurality of kinds of representative vector determining methods is selected based on evaluation about the distribution of the components with values equal to or larger than prescribed component thresholds of the feature vectors. The representative vector of each group is determined by the selected representative vector determining method. The value to indicate the degree of holding each of the plurality of kinds of features by the corresponding analysis object is defined as the component in the feature vector.
