PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication method capable of performing communication using various apparatuses.SOLUTION: The information communication method includes: an ordinary imaging step to obtain first image data by performing imaging at a first exposure time; and a visible light communication step to obtain second image data by performing imaging at a second exposure time which is shorter than the first exposure time to obtain a piece of information by demodulating a bright line pattern corresponding to the exposure lines which appear in the second image data. In the visible light communication step, the second exposure time is set to 1/480 seconds or less; and the sensibility of image sensors is set to a value higher than that at the ordinary imaging step, to thereby generate a bright line pattern in the second image data, and by demodulating a specific frequency to obtain a piece of information from the bright line pattern. The method to read the first image data in the ordinary imaging step is identical to the method to read the second image data in the visible light communication step.
