Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input/output device and information input/output method for improving convenience.SOLUTION: An information input/output device includes: a mounting detection unit for detecting whether the device itself is being mounted close to the head of a user or on the head; a notification unit for notifying the user of an incoming call; and a control unit for controlling the notification unit so as to notify the user of an incoming call from the terminal of a communication partner by sound when it is discriminated that a silent mode for not outputting an incoming call sound by sound from the notification unit has been set on the basis of information indicating whether the silent mode has been set or not and also when the mounting detection unit has detected a fact that the device itself has being mounted close to the head of the user or on the head.
