Abstract:
To improve convenience of a user in an information display device for displaying running situations together with navigation information.
A recognition part 12 recognizes an object existing in front of its own vehicle on the basis of a color picture outputted by a camera and outputs color information on the object by picking up scenery in front of its own vehicle. A control unit 13 controls the display device so that a symbol showing the recognized object is displayed superimposed upon the navigation information. In doing this, the control unit 13 controls a display device 15 so as to display the symbol by using a display color corresponding to the color information of the outputted object.
