On receiving setting information broadcast transmitted from the BOX, the MFP, when the MAC address of the self-device is included in the setting information, displays on a setting screen a current BOX network item setting value included in the setting information, and accepts the change of the current setting value (S120). Then when a new setting value is input, the MFP broadcast transmits new network information including the new setting value (S130). Meanwhile, on receipt of the new network information, the BOX, when the MAC address of the self-device is included in the new network information, updates the current network item setting value of the self-device to the new setting value included in the new network information (S150).
