An information display device includes a display panel part 4 having a main display surface 4-1 on one surface, and a body part 10 having a touch panel part. The display panel part is connected to the body part so as to be opened/closed relative to each other. The information display device enables an input operation to the touch panel part via the display panel part in accordance with information displayed on the main display surface of the display panel part in a predetermined closed position where the display panel part overlaps the body part with the main display surface of the display panel part facing outward, and at least one or both of the following: a direct input operation to the touch panel part in accordance with information displayed on the main display surface of the display panel part, and displaying of the information input by directly operating the touch panel part on the main display surface of the display panel part in a predetermined open position where the main display surface and the touch panel part are exposed by moving the display panel part toward the body part.
