Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make an information provider able to perform different secret management to respective groups for information constituted of the plural groups. CONSTITUTION:In an information distribution system provided with more than one information providers 16 for providing the information, a communication network 15 for deliverying the information and more than one information terminal equipments 14 for receiving the information, the data base of the information provider 16 stores at least more than one overall information composed of outline information for which the outline of the contents of the information is described and at least more than one detailed difference information for synthesizing more detailed information by being combined with the outline information and the information provider 16 divides the respective overall information to the plural groups, ciphers the respective groups by different encipherment keys and transmits them. A receiver receives a deciphering key for deciphering the information to be deciphered among pieces of the received overall information from the information provider 16 and performs deciphering. Thus, by the information distribution system, the receiver obtains requested absoletely sufficient information and the information provider 16 appropriately charges for the information.
