The information distribution system 1 includes: an SIP proxy server 40 for controlling the transmission and reception of an SIP message for executing session control between one, two or more terminals 100 to which a group is allocated and a network; and an SIP application server 10 for transmitting the information to be distributed to the terminal 100 as the SIP message through the SIP proxy server 40 to the terminal 100. The SIP application server 10 performs multicast distribution to one, two or more terminals 100 to which the group is allocated by transmitting the SIP message to the group.
