Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to disclose or to hear on trial all or part of distribution data before accounting in an information or music distribution system that conducts distribution and accounting. SOLUTION: Distribution data are received by an antenna 31 and a transmission reception section 32 and an encryption contents key is stored in a register 39 and encrypted music data are stored in a memory 42. A data sensing section 38 senses that received encrypted music data reaches a prescribed quantity and when the data reaches the prescribed quantity, the music data are reproduced via a contents key decoding section 44, a music data decoding section 43, a music reproduction section 34, a mixer 35, and a D/A converter 36 from the encrypted music data in the memory 42 and the encrypted contents key of the register 39 to provide a music for trial. After hearing the music on trial, a purchasing intension from a key 45 is sent to a distribution server and in the case of purchasing the music data, the encrypted contents key in the register 39 are stored in the memory 42.
