Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system and a transmitting device capable of managing address information together with a schedule for meetings and easily inputting a plurality of pieces of address information used for broadcasting transmission.
SOLUTION: A center device 3 sends meeting information including the day and time when a meeting is held to a multifunction machine 1. The machine 1 (transmitting device) accepts the selection of received meeting information and transmits the selected meeting information to a center device 3. The center device 3 transmits address information, stored while related to the meeting information received from the machine 1, to the machine 1. The machine 1 broadcasts information to be distributed as to the meeting to a plurality of communication apparatuses 51, 52, ..., corresponding to the respective pieces of address information by using the address information received from the center device 3.
