PURPOSE: To prevent picture information from being disabled to retrieve by recording relative information making an optical disc recording the picture information correspond to a floppy disc recording a key word in respective discs.

CONSTITUTION: An original or the like is optically line-scanned by a reader part 1 to form picture information, which is temporally stored in a picture memory 2. The picture information is recorded/reproduced in the 1st/2nd optical disc OD through an optical disc control part 3. The contents of said memory 2 are displayed on a CRT4 and printed out by a printer 5. A key word corresponding to the picture information in the optical disc OD is stored in the 1st/2nd floppy disc FD through an FD driving part 7. Consequently, an address signal corresponding to the picture information is stored in the optical disc control part 3 and also recorded in the floppy disc FD and the key word from the keyboard 6 is related to the address signal of the picture information.
