The information management system includes: a folder configuration output part 403 for generating similar folder configurations in a storage area installed in a different device; an attribute assignment part 401 for acquiring different device attribute item information showing the items of attribute information managed by the different device, and for generating attribute correspondence information showing a correspondence relation between the items of determined attribute information and the items of the attribute information managed by the different device; and a data acquisition part 402 for acquiring management object information stored in a folder included in the generated folder configurations, for converting attribute information added to the management object information into the items of the determined attribute information based on the attribute correspondence information, and for storing the management object information.
