Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information so that it is made easy to grasp the characteristics of a target detection device using a sequential probability ratio test (SPRT).SOLUTION: An information presentation device of the present embodiment presents information regarding the characteristics of a target detection device for detecting a target using an SPRT on the basis of a signal detection result from a sensor, the device carrying out a Monte Carlo simulation on the basis of simulation specifications in order to simulate the process of the target detection device using the SPRT and the signal detection result of a sensor, collecting a target-detected or target-not-detected determination result obtained by carrying out the Monte Carlo simulation and the number of observation times when the determination result is obtained as simulation results, statistically processing the collected simulation results in order to calculate a value corresponding to statistical processing specifications, and presenting the statistically processed result as information pertaining to the characteristics of the target detection device using the SPRT.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
