Abstract:
To specify a direction to correct the amount of folding deviation when outputting the amount of correction of folded positions in a medium folded by a folding machine.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus has a processor, and the processor includes: reading means that reads an image of at least one surface of a first surface and a second surface of a medium in a state in which the medium is folded; discrimination means that discriminates whether the image is of the first surface or the second surface based on an identification image in the image; specification means that specifies, based on the image, a surface on which a folding deviation occurs; and determination means that determines a direction to correct the folding deviation according to whether the surface on which the folding deviation occurs is the first surface or the second surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
