PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system allowing similar companies for WACC calculation to be objectively and quickly selected.SOLUTION: Company data including at least business type data indicative of business types of companies and financial data indicative of financial conditions of the companies is externally acquired with respect to the companies. On the basis of the financial data and the business type data, a company financial value matrix V about a plurality of companies determined to be similar in the business type on the basis of predetermined criteria is decomposed through nonnegative matrix factorization processing into a similarity matrix W which has similarities Wof respective companies to each of a plurality of similar company groups, as matrix elements, and a contribution matrix H which has contributions Hof respective financial values included in the financial data to each of the similar company groups, as matrix elements. Respective similarities Wincluded as matrix elements in the similarity matrix W after the decomposition are outputted to a user terminal with respect to each of the similar company groups and each of the companies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
