To estimate a reason of non-purchase of a customer.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus has: an input circuit for acquiring image data obtained by capturing a region including a person and information indicating purchase processing of an article; and an estimation circuit for, based on the image data, detecting a visual line direction of the person toward a portion of the article selected by the person as purchase candidates and for, based on the portion corresponding to the visual line direction and information indicating the purchase processing, estimating a reason of non-purchase with respect to an article where the purchase processing is not detected in the purchase candidates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
