Abstract:
To provide an apparatus and the like that perform processing for eliminating a divergence between an object being operated in a virtual space and a body posture of each user in a situation where the object is subject to some inference, without reducing a sense of immersion of the user as much as possible.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus of an aspect of the present disclosure includes an operation mode determination unit, an instruction body posture calculation unit, and an object action determination unit. The operation mode determination unit determines an operation mode for a first object. The instruction body posture calculation unit calculates an instruction body posture against the first object based on a body posture of an operator of the first object. The object operation determination unit determines a body posture of the first object based on the instruction body posture when the operation mode is determined to be the first operation mode, and not based on the instruction body posture when the operation mode is determined to be a second operation mode. The operation mode determination unit switches the operation mode to the first operation mode when the instruction body posture is determined to meet a predetermined condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
