To provide an information processing apparatus that allows a user to easily and surely set a region to be a display object of masking.
An information processing apparatus is connected to an imaging apparatus configured to have a mask composition part for masking a part of regions in an image and to be able to capture an image from multiple view points. The information processing apparatus comprises: calculation means which calculates a region to be masked by the mask composition part for an image captured by any of the multiple view points according to predetermined algorithm; a composite region calculation means which calculates a first mask region masked in an image captured from the multiple view points by the imaging apparatus at all times based on the region calculated by the calculation means; composite means which combines the first mask region with a predetermined image captured from any of the multiple view points by the imaging apparatus; and display control means which displays on a display an image combined by the composite means when setting according to an instruction of a user a region to be a display object of masking in the predetermined image.
