PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate replacement or addition of a repeating device, in a communication system having a call controller performing call control between information processing apparatus, and a repeating device for repeating the information between the information processing apparatus.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus for connection with a call controller and a repeating device in a communication network has a login request section requesting login for the repeating device, a service setting request section requesting the setting of a service related to communication of the repeating device, upon receiving a notification of permitting login transmitted by the repeating device for the request of login, and a service start request section for requesting start of the service between other information processing apparatus of communication partner, via the call controller, by using the service identification information for identifying the service transmitted by the repeating device, for the setting of the service requested by the service setting request section, and a service start request including the login information for use when using the service.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
