A mobile phone, that is applicable to the information processing apparatus according to the present invention, includes: at least one or more housings: a security switch 16 that is slidable in a surface direction with respect to the housing via a guide member; a GPS antenna that is disposed at an end portion 16a of the security switch 16; and a GPS reception portion that receives position information based on GPS positioning via the GPS antenna. If the security switch 16 is pressed down, the security switch is slid in the surface direction, and the GPS antenna is spaced from the housing by a distance corresponding to the slide amount; in this condition where the GPS antenna is at the position corresponding distance to the sliding amount away from the housing, the GPS reception portion receives position information based on the GPS positioning via the GPS antenna.
