Abstract:

To provide an information processing apparatus that has a plurality of processors and can switch a processor for performing an information process in accordance with the temperature of the processor.

The information processing apparatus includes: an iGPU 23 as a first processor; a dGPU 24 as a second processor whose display control processing capability and power consumption are higher than those of the iGPU 23; a temperature monitoring unit 32 configured to acquire an operating temperature of the dGPU 24; and a processor switching control unit configured to perform, when the operating temperature of the dGPU 24 is equal to or higher than a given temperature, stopping an operation of the dGPU 24, causing the iGPU 23 to perform a display control process, and prohibiting the operation of the dGPU 24.
