Abstract:
To provide an information processing apparatus that, when directing commodities displayed on a display shelf by using displays, gives a direction to easily increase the degree of attention to a commodity that a seller wants to promote sales.SOLUTION: In a direction system 1, an information processing apparatus 10 has an acquisition unit 131 and a direction control unit 132. The acquisition unit 131 acquires, from a stock control device 30 via a communication network 40, stock data DA indicating the amount in stock of a commodity A displayed on a display shelf T in a real store, and stock data DB indicating the amount in stock of a commodity B displayed on the display shelf T. The direction control unit 132 gives a direction to emphasize one commodity of the commodity A and the commodity B compared to the other commodity by using a display 20A that gives a direction for the commodity A and a display 20B that gives a direction for the commodity B based on the stock data DA and the stock data DB.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
