Abstract:
To provide a technique that assists a user who wears a head mount display in correctly holding a controller.SOLUTION: A captured image acquisition unit 212 acquires a captured image obtained by capturing a front direction of a user who wears a head mount display (HMD 100). An estimation processing unit 230 estimates the position of a controller (input device 16) on the basis of the captured image showing the input device 16, which is designed for the user to insert their hand into a curved part to hold a grip part. A display control unit 276 allows the HMD 100 to display the captured image in which the front direction of the user is captured. The display control unit 276 further allows an object for assisting in correctly holding the input device 16 to be displayed in the vicinity of the input device 16 shown in the captured image on the basis of the estimation result of the position of the input device 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
