Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing part 120D capable of, even in the case of dealing with data in which plaintext data and cipher text data coexist by a hard disk drive, appropriately encrypting/decrypting the data according to the type of the data.SOLUTION: The information processor includes: an SATA host controller 506; a hard disk drive device 120E corresponding to an NCQ; access request determination means 503 for determining whether all sector addresses included in an access request are the coexisting sector addresses of both plaintext data and cipher text data or only the sector addresses of either the plaintext data or the cipher text data; division and transmission means 505 for, when all the sector addresses are the coexisting sector addresses, dividing the access request into unit access requests; and simultaneous transmission means 511 for, when all the sector addresses are the sector addresses of either the plaintext data or the cipher text data, transmitting the access request to the SATA host controller 506.
