Abstract:
To prevent collision of an autonomous mobile robot with an object.SOLUTION: A first creation unit creates an environment map on the basis of first detection data. A second acquisition unit acquires second detection data concerning a second height range larger than a first height range in a predetermined area. A third acquisition unit acquires third detection data concerning a third height range included in the second height range using the second detection data. A second creation unit creates a first convolution image having a projection image of the third detection data superposed on the environment map. A first designation unit designates a layout position and a layout angle of a fixture in the environment map. A third creation unit creates a second convolution image having an image, which shows the shape of the fixture, superposed on the layout position in the environment map according to an angle identical to the layout angle. A second designation unit designates an entry prohibition area for an autonomous mobile robot in the environment map. The third creation unit creates a second environment map having the entry prohibition area designated in the environment map.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
