Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and an information processing method which eliminate time and labor required for user authentication for log-in.SOLUTION: A reception unit 111 receives IPv4 packets. The reception unit 111 extracts an IPv6 address from an IPv6 packet included in the received IPv4 packets. An authentication control unit 112 determines whether a user is logging in by searching an authentication database 121 for the IPv6 address. When the user is logging in, the authentication control unit 112 performs log-in processing while authorizing the log-in by eliminating requiring of authentication information such as input of user ID and password.
