PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate scalability transmission rate control.SOLUTION: An information processing device, receiving a stream to output image information from another information processing device through radio communication, includes a radio communication unit and a control unit. The radio communication unit performs communication for exchanging capability information related to the information processing device and capability information related to the other information processing device, with the other information processing device. The control unit performs scalability transmission rate control of a stream related to the other information processing device, on the basis of the capability information of the other information processing device, radio wave propagation measurement information related to the communication with the other information processing device and the way of use of the information processing device.
