Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience about a point management system for identifying a point member by using an electronic money ID.SOLUTION: Reception means receives points calculated in accordance with a sales amount of merchandise. Reading means reads electronic money identification information from an electronic money storage medium. Identification information reading means uses association storage means for associating member identification information for identifying a point member with the electronic money identification information to be used by the point member for storage to read the member identification information associated with the electronic money identification information read by the reading means. Point reading means reads cumulative points with respect to the member identification information read by the identification information reading means from point storage means for associating cumulative points of each point member with member identification information for storage. Point update means adds the points received by the reception means to the cumulative points to update the cumulative points.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
