Abstract:
To solve a problem in which: conventionally, a system side forcibly applies a unique identification number as a file name, and thereby user's visibility is reduced.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus displays a setting screen on which a user can select a plurality of items used for a naming convention of a file name, when a predetermined item is not included in items being selected on the setting screen, controls such that the items being selected on the setting screen cannot be settled as items used for the naming convention of the file name, and when the predetermined item is included in the items being selected on the setting screen, controls such that the items being selected on the setting screen can be settled as items used for the naming convention of the file name. Here, the naming convention of the file name is a naming convention used in automatically creating the file name of a received document. The predetermined item includes an item of a reception date, and the item of the reception date is an item for using the date on which the document is received for the naming convention.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
