Abstract:
To suppress the use amount of resources and enable quick switching of virtual machines.SOLUTION: A storage unit 11 stores information that indicates the correspondence relation of a plurality of virtual machines differing in performance. A processing unit 12 transmits an instruction for arranging a plurality of image data that corresponds to the plurality of virtual machines in a storage device 30 to a physical machine 20. The processing unit 12 monitors the load of a virtual machine 23 that is operating in the physical machine 20 and, when the load exceeds a first threshold, loads the image data of a virtual machine 24 having higher performance than the virtual machine 23 from the storage device 30 into memory on the basis of the information stored in the storage unit 11 and transmits an instruction for placing the virtual machine 23 in a preparatory state to the physical machine 20. When the load exceeds a second threshold higher than the first threshold, the processing unit 12 transmits an instruction for switching the virtual machine 23 to the virtual machine 24 to the physical machine 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
