Abstract:
A sensor obtainment unit 101 obtains a captured image captured by a stereo camera 17 vertically below a host machine. A distance calculation unit 102 calculates a distance for each of pixels in the obtained captured image. A danger level determination unit 103 determines a danger level for landing in each of a plurality of segmented regions vertically below the host machine, on the basis of the calculated distance for each of the pixels. A flight instruction unit 104 repeatedly makes an instruction to move the host machine in a direction and an altitude according to an arrangement of the segmented regions in which the determined danger level is at least a first standard. When the altitude drops below a predetermined altitude, an obstruction detection unit 107 performs processing for detecting an obstruction from the obtained captured image. When no obstruction is detected, or when a landing condition is met despite an obstruction being detected, a landing instruction unit 109 instructs a flight control unit 105 to land the host machine based on the calculated distance for each of the pixels, and causes landing control to start.
