To allow for selecting a network interface for use in communication without user intervention even in the case of communication where an information processing apparatus provided with a plurality of network interfaces is a client.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises: a plurality of network interfaces for use in communication with external devices; an acquisition unit which acquires a communication request to an external device on the basis of user's input operation; and a selection unit which selects a network interface for use in the communication with the external device from the plurality of network interfaces on the basis of associated information associated with the user being the requester of the acquired communication request.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
