Abstract:
To achieve better gradation attained by a color conversion parameter.SOLUTION: An information processing device generates a color conversion parameter for use in color conversion processing which converts a signal value of an input image into a plurality of types of color material values. The information processing device acquires a color material value of a grid point of interest in the color conversion parameter, and a color material value of a neighboring grid point which neighbors the grid point of interest. The information processing device then converts the color material value of the grid point of interest and the color material value of the neighboring grid point into the number of dots, and corrects the color material value of the grid point of interest, based on the number of dots of the grid point of interest and the number of dots of the neighboring grid point. At the conversion from the color material value into the number of dots, each dot formed on a recording medium in a manner that at least part of dots of the plurality of types of the color materials is overlaid is counted as one dot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
