Abstract:
To provide an information processing apparatus capable of securely communicating even when arranged in a place unsuitable to wide-area radio communication.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an information processing apparatus which communicates with a management server has radio communication means and first communication control means. The radio communication means switches between wide-area radio communication and short-range radio communication to perform communication. The first communication control means allows transmission of data, which needs to be transmitted to the management server, through the wide-area radio communication and employs, if the wide-area radio communication ends in failure, broadcasting for the transmission through the short-range radio communication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
