Abstract:
To provide an information processing method, etc. that can analyze efficiently and accurately mass spectra obtained by mass spectrometry.SOLUTION: There is provided an information processing method for analyzing a mass spectrum obtained by mass spectrometry. In the information processing method, a computer executes: a first conversion process that converts discrete data including a plurality of sets of peak data expressed in terms of mass-to-charge ratio information and detection intensity information in the mass spectrum into continuous data having a maximum value and a minimum value corresponding to the peak data; a second conversion process that converts the continuous data into persistent data by a persistent homology method; and feature data identification processing that identifies feature data representing characteristics of the mass spectrum based on the persistent data.SELECTED DRAWING: None
