Abstract:
To provide an information processing method and an information processing device with which it is possible, not just for a user getting onboard earlier but also for a user getting onboard later to determine a suitable travel route of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The information processing method includes: calculating the first travel route of a shared vehicle on the basis of the desired condition of a first user; selecting a candidate boarding location and a candidate alighting location of a second user on the basis of the desired condition of the second user and the first travel route; selecting a second candidate travel route of the shared vehicle including the selected candidate boarding location and candidate alighting location; calculating the movement cost of the first user needed for the first user to arrive at a destination and the movement cost of the second user needed for the second user to arrive at a destination when the shared vehicle travels the second candidate travel route; and determining the travel route of the shared vehicle on the basis of the movement cost of the first user and the movement cost of the second user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
