To provide an information processing method that, when a player collides with an object in a virtual space, can display the field of view with which a user does not have discomfort.SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises: a display image creation unit that creates, in a processor unit of a computer, a display image displaying the field of view from a player's viewpoint in a virtual space as a user's field of view; a coordinate acquisition unit that acquires the three-dimensional coordinates of the player's viewpoint in the virtual space; a determination unit that determines the presence or absence of entry of the three-dimensional coordinates of the player's viewpoint into a collision area of an object arranged in the virtual space; and a viewpoint stopping unit that, when the entry into the area is determined, stops the player's viewpoint in the virtual space at an entry position and displays the viewpoint on a display as the user's viewpoint.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
