To provide an information processing method, and the like, configured to efficiently deliver packages between physical distribution centers.SOLUTION: An information processing method includes: outputting a request to acquire user information of a vehicle, from a gate terminal to an in-vehicle unit of the vehicle through a first communication system; acquiring, through the first communication system, user information stored on a mobile terminal or a card that communicates with the in-vehicle unit through a second communication system, from the in-vehicle unit having received the acquisition request; outputting the acquired user information to an information processing apparatus that authenticates the user information; and controlling a gate to be opened when the user information is authenticated by the information processing apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
