Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability of an operation to specify an instruction position.SOLUTION: An information processing device calculates an instruction position Ps2 in a three-dimensional virtual space which is displayed in a screen of a display device. The information processing device calculates a two-dimensional input position Pi2 in the screen on the basis of input by a user. The instruction position Ps2 is calculated on the basis of the input position Pi2. The information processing device calculates a three-dimensional position which satisfies distance conditions and range conditions, as the instruction position Ps2. The distance conditions are related to a distance from a predetermined reference position in the virtual space. The range conditions indicate that the position on the screen which corresponds to the three-dimensional position is to be within the range determined on the basis of the input position Pi2 and the position on the screen which corresponds to the reference position.
