To provide a technology that can inhibit unauthorized use or theft of a user's device by a third party.SOLUTION: IoT devices 10, 12 transmit position information and device IDs to an IoT device monitoring server 14. The IoT device monitoring server 14 calculates the relative distance between the IoT devices 10, 12, and when the relative distance exceeds a limit value, notifies the IoT devices 10, 12 of security alert. The IoT device 10 is a smartphone, and the IoT device 12 is a PC; when receiving the security alert, the smartphone displays a message, and the PC makes a transition to an operation inhibition state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
